    Franklin County FFA - A college freshman, Kaylee will be competing in the national livestock judging career development event (CDE) this October. She also served as chapter president and was valedictorian of her graduating class.

    Griswold FFA - Melanie, who will start her high school senior year this fall, has been an FFA officer for the past two years. She enjoys showing dairy goats at her local county fair and participating in horse judging, livestock judging, meats, soils, Envirothon, floriculture and the Greenhand quiz. Melanie placed sixth in the state Greenhand quiz event.

    Fort Payne FFA - This recent high school graduate served his FFA chapter as vice president in 2010-2011. John was part of the livestock-judging team and the water-quality monitoring and recycling programs for four years. He also taught at the chapter’s annual Progressive Farmer farm safety day and was chosen as a District Star Farmer in 2010.

    Laurel Hill FFA - This high school sophomore says she is passionate about agriculture and FFA. Ashley serves as president of her FFA chapter and her subdistrict’s co-chairperson. She also has been a state finalist in FFA Creed speaking and prepared public speaking. Ashley is also active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and ranked third in her class for academic achievement.

    Mariposa FFA - Meyer, who recently graduated from high school, has competed in the environmental and natural resource, forestry, parliamentary procedure, FFA Creed, job interview and prepared public speaking career development events (CDEs). He has attended the California State FFA Conference for four years in a row, and this year served on the committee for electing state FFA officers.

    Rider FFA - Kristen, a high school sophomore, raises swine for her supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program. Her pig placed second in its class at the Fort Worth Stock Show and fifth in its class at the Houston Livestock Show. Kristen has also shown poultry and participated in the FFA Creed and dairy products CDEs. She is active in student council and plays basketball.

He will be a junior this fall, and he hopes to participate in agricultural mechanics and agricultural issues this year.     Kolton, a sophomore, was awarded chapter Star Greenhand last year and has started a supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program in swine. He raised a Duroc for the Houston Livestock Show last year and says it was a great experience in learning responsibility. It also sparked his career interest, and he hopes to become a veterinarian one day.

    Danielle says she is fairly new to the FFA organization, but she has enjoyed her experiences so far. Besides FFA, she is involved with her school’s library club and dance team. She also enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. Danielle hopes to become president of her FFA chapter, and her career goal is to work with children and animals.

    Henry, a junior, has participated in the soil judging and livestock evaluation career development events (CDE), and he was the high individual in the state CDE for livestock last year. He also raises cattle and swine for his SAE, and in the summers, grows produce to sell through the farmers’ market. After high school, Henry hopes to attend Clemson University.

    This high school senior currently serves as her chapter’s president and has participated in nearly everything FFA has to offer. Her SAE is devoted to swine and steers, and she has competed in the parliamentary procedure and livestock evaluation CDEs. Besides her FFA involvement, Lindsey enjoys dancing competitively and rides horses.

    Kyle, a senior, has won state titles in the rituals, FFA Creed and job interview CDEs, and placed sixth in the national FFA Creed CDE. He serves as his chapter’s president and district FFA president, and shows a pig each year for his county fair. Kyle is the valedictorian of his class and is also actively involved with the National Honor Society.

    Brittany says one of her favorite FFA experiences was attending the state FFA convention last year, where she was inspired by the keynote speakers and met many new friends. Brittany also served as a delegate for her FFA chapter. This high school junior says she has learned a lot during her FFA membership, and now hopes to become a state FFA officer one day.

    North Pike FFA - Alexis currently serves as her chapter's vice president. In 2009-2010, she served as student advisor, and during her FFA experience has been involved with FFA Creed speaking, tool identification, Envirothon and the FFA legislative breakfast. As a high school senior, Alexis is enjoying her last year of FFA involvement, but is also looking forward to graduation.

    Middletown FFA - Nicole, a high school senior and chapter officer for three years, works to encourage more students to join FFA and encourage current members to become more active. She has been a member of state-winning dairy judging and dairy foods teams and has enjoyed raising and showing Brown Swiss dairy cattle as her supervised agricultural experience program (SAE).

    Chattanooga FFA - This high school senior currently serves as his chapter's president and shows steers and lambs for his SAE. One of Dakota's proudest FFA moments was making the sale at the Oklahoma Youth Expo. He also plays baseball and basketball for his school and is active on the student council. After high school, Dakota plans to major in animal science at Oklahoma State University.

    Stanwood FFA - Maddie, a high school sophomore, has participated in the best-informed Greenhand and rituals competitions within Washington FFA and raised swine for her SAE. She is also involved in trapshooting and hopes to participate in agricultural sales, agricultural issues and meats judging. At home, Maddie helps in her family's winery and likes to go horseback riding.

    Grand Rapids FFA - Torey, a high school sophomore, is currently serving as FFA chapter reporter and raises poultry for his SAE. Last year, he helped his all-freshman agricultural issues team win second in the state career development event, and he placed third individually in the fish and wildlife CDE the same year.

Alba is also involved in the cotton, milk-quality and tree-pruning FFA teams and serves in a leadership role for each of those.     Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn FFA - This high school senior has served as his chapter's sentinel and is currently serving as chapter vice president. Phillip shows beef cattle at the Osceola County Fair and also participates in livestock judging at the fair, along with other FFA career development events (CDEs). After graduating from high school, he plans to attend South Dakota State University.

    Waitsburg FFA - Christy says one of her greatest FFA achievements was creating a chapter newsletter to send out to more than 100 community members and local FFA alumni. She now serves as editor of the newsletter, as well as her chapter's FFA president. After high school, she plans to attend Washington State University to double major in agriculture education and communications.

    Burley FFA - Jacob has placed on the state level in the soil and land evaluation, parliamentary procedure and prepared public speaking CDEs. A high school senior, he also serves as chapter reporter and district vice president. Chelsey says that she was motivated to join FFA after watching her older sister, Sandy, experience the organization. After graduating, Chelsey plans to enroll in college and major in animal science to achieve her longtime goal of becoming a veterinarian.

    Spring Branch FFA - This FFA chapter president has shown the Grand Champion meat pen rabbits at the chapter level for three consecutive years and has exhibited the grand champion market lamb as well. Cody also plays high school baseball, is a member of Boy Scouts, and also enjoys working on his truck and performing community service projects.

    Southwestern FFA - Kaci has been a member of her chapter's livestock judging team for three years and has shown Hereford cattle since she was 10 years old. She received the FFA Star Greenhand award her freshman year and also plays basketball and volleyball for her high school. After high school, she plans to attend college and become an optometrist.

    Soledad FFA - Ryan, a high school junior, loves anything blue and gold. He says his birthday cake was shaped like the FFA emblem, his cell phone is decorated with FFA colors and the emblem, and even the bands on his braces are blue and gold. Ryan serves as his chapter's reporter, and he films and edits videos for chapter meetings and banquets.

    Idalou FFA - Mechelle, a high school junior, participates in numerous career development events (CDEs) for her chapter and has been a member of eight state-qualifying teams in her two-year FFA career. As an active leader in her chapter, Mechelle helps other chapter members and her advisors with anything she's asked to do.

    Harrisburg FFA - This high school junior was recently granted a USDA rural youth agriculture loan to start his own sheep-breeding operation. Ace purchased breeding ewes, rams and necessary equipment for his farm, and he is looking forward to his first lamb crop in early 2011. His goal is to breed, raise and sell show-quality lambs to other FFA members.

    Sunny Hills FFA - Katie, a high school sophomore, has raised a heifer, market goat and chickens for her supervised agricultural experience program (SAE). With her chicken project, Katie has created custom egg cartons for her eggs, markets through advertising and delivers eggs to her customers. She serves as her chapter's FFA historian.

    Kingwood Park FFA - Nick, a high school senior, serves as chapter FFA sentinel and district FFA president. Because he lives in a suburb of Houston, Nick believes his purpose in FFA is to help others overcome the perception that FFA members are only from rural areas. As a district FFA officer, Nick visits chapters in his area and shows students all that FFA has to offer them.

    Granville FFA - This high school junior has competed in FFA talent, extemporaneous speaking and dairy handling. For her SAE, Brittany shows dairy cows at county and state fairs, and she runs her chapter's farm store. Outside of FFA, Brittany is also in the top 10 for her class and is active in Drama Club and Future Business Leaders of America.

    Fort Laramie FFA - This high school graduate has earned his State FFA Degree, served as chapter FFA president and was named the 2010 Chapter Star in Agribusiness. He recently received the school's highest agricultural honor, the DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award, sponsored by Monsanto Co. Nathan is now a freshman at the University of Dayton in Ohio, studying engineering, and he plans to return one day to the family farm.

    Northern Burlington FFA - This high school senior has shown her family's Holstein dairy cattle since she was 7, and now has nine head that she owns herself. Heather has participated in FFA Agricultural Sales, Dairy Cattle Evaluation, and Fruit and Vegetable Identification career development events (CDEs). After high school, Heather plans to attend college and study animal science, with plans to become a veterinarian.

    Rockford FFA - Lane, a high school sophomore, serves as sentinel for his FFA chapter. He currently owns two heifers for his supervised agricultural experience program (SAE), and exhibits them at various cattle shows. Lane says these heifers, recently bred to two show bulls, are the start of his cattle herd. He also plays on his school's golf team and sings in concert choir.

    Liberty-Benton FFA - Amber, a high school senior, is serving as chapter secretary for the second straight year. She has been awarded the Star Discovery FFA Degree, Star Greenhand, the Star Chapter FFA Degree and the Outstanding FFA Officer award. Amber raises yellow perch as part of her supervised agricultural experience program (SAE), and she hopes to become a veterinarian.

    Munford FFA - Peyton, a high school senior, serves as vice-president for both her FFA region and her chapter. She competed in the national FFA parliamentary procedure CDE in 2009 and will be competing in the national FFA prepared public speaking CDE in October. After high school, Peyton plans to study agricultural leadership and political science and hopes to pursue a career in agricultural politics.

    Gilmer County FFA - Cody, a college sophomore, hopes to become a veterinarian one day, a career goal that stems from his FFA experience raising beef cattle. He was a member of his chapter's Livestock Evaluation team and was on the two-time state-winning Beef Stockman's Team. Cody is a state winner in the Diversified Agricultural Production proficiency and has served as treasurer and president for his FFA chapter.

    Grant FFA - This high school junior is starting her third year in FFA, and she says it's taught her a lot about being true to herself and how to help others. Destiny is on the dairy cattle career development event (CDE) team and serves as vice president for her chapter. She also rides and trains horses and enjoys spending time with people she has met in FFA.

    Mineral Point FFA - This fall, Justin is starting his freshman year of college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study political science. During his high school FFA career, he worked on a beef cattle and sheep farm, participated in dairy cattle evaluation and parliamentary procedure. He also served as student body president for his high school.

    Big Timber FFA - This high school senior has served as a chapter FFA officer three times, competed in the agricultural communications CDE at the national level, and is a state winner in the livestock judging CDE. Bailey is also a varsity cheerleader at her school and an active 4-H member. Next year, she plans to attend college to study biology and animal science.

He is currently serving as his FFA chapter's reporter and enjoys working on the school's farm. John-Marc also volunteers at a local daycare and says it's his personal daily goal to brighten someone's day.

Kristen has shown swine for 11 years and cattle for seven years and is a member of her county's cattle fitting team. She is starting college this fall at Oklahoma State University and majoring in animal science.

    Courtland FFA - A recent high school graduate, Hunter received his State FFA Degree this year amd served as chapter FFA sentinel. He was also nominated by his FFA advisor for the United States Achievement Academy for his work in agriculture science. Hunter says he plans to use the leadership and people skills he has learned in FFA to help him as he pursues his dream of being a minister.

    Crofton FFA - This recent high school graduate and past FFA chapter president wrote an essay about her favorite place to be for an English assignment. She wrote about wearing her FFA jacket, since it is her favorite place to be. In November 2009, Mollie represented Nebraska agriculture in an exchange program to Taiwan, where she proudly wore her blue corduroy jacket.

    Emerson FFA - This high school sophomore raises Brangus cattle for her SAE and won Grand Champion Brangus Bull at the 2009 Arkansas State Fair, an honor she is proud to have achieved. Victoria currently serves as FFA chapter secretary, and she says that her brother, who served as state FFA president, and her father, a past national FFA secretary have inspired her FFA efforts.

    Twin Valley FFA - This high school junior organizes many of her chapter's community service activities, including its baking for the homeless and pet therapy programs. Christine has participated in FFA horse judging, public speaking and agronomy, and she aspires to be a state FFA officer one day. Christine is also a varsity cheerleader and softball player for her school.

    Fleming County FFA - Tracy, a high school senior, enjoys the hands-on aspect of FFA. His supervised agricultural experience program (SAE) centers on forest management, and he has competed in forestry, land judging and welding events. In 2009, he was accepted as part of the National FFA Band. Tracy's future FFA plans include achieving his State FFA Degree.

    Central City FFA - This high school senior served as his chapter's president for two years, during which his goal was to improve the local perception of FFA. Kolin is very proud of his accomplishments, including his project to put up a flagpole outside the school agriculture building, so that the American and FFA flags could be displayed. Kolin has also served as a district officer and works at a local grocery store for his SAE.

    Milan FFA - The first person in his family to be involved in FFA, Derek says he knew very little about the organization before joining. But in his first year of membership, he represented his FFA chapter in creed speaking, was a member of the knowledge team and received the chapter's freshman leadership award. Now a sophomore, Derek plans to expand his SAE in vegetable production and continue staying active.

    Crescent FFA - Danae, a high school graduate, is a past state winner in the FFA swine production proficiency. For her SAE, she raised, bred and marketed pigs throughout her community, and also exhibited Charolais cattle. Danae has served as her chapter's vice president and hopes to someday become a park ranger for the Corps of Engineers.

    Pine Grove FFA - A high school junior, Nick raises swine and Boer goats, and exhibits them at various fairs and shows in the region. He has won numerous grand champions with his livestock and won master showmanship in the swine division at the Pennsylvania Farm Show. Nick was also honored as his chapter's Star Greenhand in 2007 and serves as a chapter officer.

    Meadville FFA - This high school sophomore shows rabbits at local fairs and raises vegetables and fruit for her supervised agricultural experience (SAE). She serves as the assistant treasurer of her chapter and enjoys participating in speech events. Beth won the FFA Creed event for her area and at summer FFA camp. Besides FFA, she plays basketball and softball and runs track.

Kendra is a cheerleader, plays basketball and volunteers at local rodeos.

    McClusky FFA - Kristin, a recent high school graduate, was chosen in 2008 as the North Dakota State FFA Agri-Entrepreneur winner. She owns and operates her own floral business, “A Daisy A Day,” which is also her supervised agricultural experience program (SAE). Kristin graduated as her class valedictorian.

He served as chapter president for two years and as an area FFA officer. Cole holds the Discovery FFA degree is looking forward to receiving his Greenhand FFA degree this year.

    Jesup FFA - Cally, a high school senior and chapter vice-president, is helping organize her chapter’s 75th anniversary by developing alumni lists and looking through FFA scrapbooks from years past. Her multiple FFA achievements include serving as the FFA Harvest Queen, being named outstanding member for three years and receiving her State FFA Degree. She also enjoys photography and landscaping projects.

    Clintwood FFA - Meghan, has extended her love of horses to her FFA involvement. She placed first in the state hippology and horse judging CDEs and raises horses for her SAE. This past year, she was named the state winner in the equine science proficiency area. Meghan is currently a freshman at Virginia Tech, majoring in animal science. She plans to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

    Manuel Mendez Liciaga FFA - Gabriel has enjoyed learning career skills through his involvement with FFA. Through his SAE, he raised plantains and sold his products locally. He has also been involved with his family’s dairy farm and has earned his State FFA Degree. A recent high school graduate, Gabriel is attending the State University of Puerto Rico to study in veterinary technology.

    Pine High FFA - Susan, a high school graduate, credits her agriculture teachers for her success in FFA. She says they encouraged her to become more active, and it made all the difference for her. Trae has participated in the FFA Creed speaking, general knowledge and beginning woodworking career development events (CDEs) and placed second in beginning arc welding. Trae was named most outstanding FFA member in his class.

    Turner Ashby FFA - After joining FFA by accident his ninth-grade year, Wes found a love for agriculture and a career path – agricultural education. This chapter president recently won the state FFA agricultural education proficiency, an honor he says he is very proud of achieving. Wes has also attended Washington Leadership Conference and plans to run for state FFA office after graduating from high school.

Since then, she has been a member of a horse CDE team that competed at the national FFA convention, won first place in the state individual demonstration event, participated in chapter fundraisers and is currently serving as chapter vice president.

After graduation, James plans to attend college to become an agriculture teacher.

    Dyer County FFA - Brandy, a high school junior and chapter vice president, says FFA has helped model the person she is today. Shy and reserved when she first joined FFA, Brandy says she now has lots of friends and can barely keep quiet! She has even competed in public speaking CDEs and won Chapter Star Greenhand and Chapter Star Farmer. She also raises and shows market goats for her SAE.

    Monte FFA - Rebekah, a high school sophomore, has achieved both the Discovery FFA Degree and the Greenhand FFA Degree. In fact, she was named Star Greenhand for her chapter in spring 2009. Rebekah has participated in more than five CDEs, serves as chapter parliamentarian, and has an SAE in equine science and veterinary medicine. She also serves as president of her 4-H Club and plays soccer.
