National FFA Alumni: It's More Than You Think

What do you think of when you hear the word “Alumni”? Are you thinking of some gray haired, raffle ticket selling, former member squeezing into a blue corduroy jacket that has magically shrunk over the years??  Good! That’s an FFA Alumni member who remembers the FFA experience and how FFA prepared them with the career knowledge and life skills necessary to succeed.

The National FFA Alumni Association is made up over 47,000 dues-paying members who are young and young at heart! You too can be an FFA Alumni member and you don’t have to wait.

Now I know you want to ask, “What does it mean to be an Alumni member?” That’s a great question. It means supporting ag education through training and mentoring current students, advocating to local school boards or with legislators and giving of your time, your talent and your dough.

Alumni are the ones with the knowledge, the passion and the financial power in the community, the state and in our country!
